T-Systems in pact with Informatica to launch Cloud-based data management service

T-Systems has tied up with Informatica to launch Cloud-based integration and data management service.

The service enables enterprises to integrate data and applications from all sources – public, private clouds and on-premise environments.

The corporate customers unit of Deutsche Telekom is the first Cloud service provider to embed Informatica’s data integration software within its datacenter in Germany.

T-Systems will operate and manage a new Data Orchestration as a Service (DOaaS) powered by Informatica to address their integration needs without having to install any software on-premise.

The clients of T-Systems can securely and cost-effectively meet their cloud integration needs without having to build and maintain their own homegrown integration solutions. The new service will be launched at the end of 2014.

DOaaS powered by the Informatica Cloud Integration Service integrates to hundreds of applications and databases leveraging out-of-the-box connectivity. T-Systems broad ecosystem of partners – including Salesforce.com and Microsoft – enables the delivery of an integrated end-to-end service.
