IT security vendor Kaspersky Lab on Thursday announced the appointment of Peter Hewett as the managing director for Asia Pacific.
Peter succeeds Harry Cheung who retired after holding the managing director position since 2008.
Based in Singapore, Peter will be responsible for the company’s overall business operations in the Asia Pacific region, including sales, marketing and business development functions.
Peter joins Kaspersky Lab after serving as Sales Director for Australia with the Westcon Group.
With 23 years of experience working in sales channels in both vendor and distributor environments, Peter comes to Kaspersky Lab with a strong commercial understanding of business and consumer-oriented IT security solutions, and will helping lead Kaspersky Lab’s channel-driven strategy across the APAC region.
